As mentioned in my post about the Dinosaurs of China exhibition at Wollaton Hall there is a sister exhibition at the Angear Visitor Centre at Lakeside Arts on the University of Nottingham campus. Here you can find two dinosaur skeletons and a range of different fossils, including the Nottingham Ichthyosaur.

Natural History Museum and Botanical Gardens, Oslo
I’m putting these two together because the Natural History Museum is in the grounds of the Botanical Gardens and also the fire alarm went off whilst I was at the museum so although I went back in to finish looking around there, it did mean that I didn’t spend as much time in the gardens as I would have done if I hadn’t been interrupted.

Horniman Museum and Gardens Part One: The Museum
On possibly the wettest August day of the year I headed out to explore the Horniman Museum and Gardens. It’s been on my list of places to visit for a while as it’s relatively unknown outside of London. (Possibly in London too!)
