Holland Park/Kyoto Garden, London

On my last trip to London there was such glorious sunny weather that I decided to head to Holland Park which I last visited in 2018. I wanted to see if the blossoms were in bloom yet on the trees – they weren’t quite but there were lots of lovely colourful flowers.

I also wandered through Kyoto Garden, a gift from the city of Kyoto to commemorate the long friendship between Japan and Great Britain which was opened at the Japan festival in London in 1992 and which I’ve written about before here. The garden is styled in typical Japanese fashion with a pond full of koi carp, stone lanterns, waterfalls and, not pictured, peacocks roaming around.

Always a lovely place to visit it can be busy when the sun is out. You can find more photos here.
