Much has, quite rightly, been written about the poppy artwork currently on display at the Tower of London. On my most recent trip to the capital (back in August), I made a detour to ensure that I could see them for myself, and it felt fitting that I should wait to post about it until today.
With each poppy representing a British or Commonwealth soldier who died during the First World War, it really is a beautiful tribute to their sacrifice.
When I visited they had barely scratched the surface at representing all those who had died. It is a very poignant and well-thought out tribute.
