Week Twenty

Please note photos have been removed due to lack of hosting space. You can find all my Vancouver photos here.

At the beginning of last week, in what seems a distant time when it wasn’t raining constantly, I went on a walk around Kitsilano. Following random roads I found myself walking through some parks and eventually arrived at Granville Island and came across some very cute baby geese. Pics below:

And over the weekend I went to the EAT! Vancouver Food and Cooking Festival at the new Vancouver convention centre which was a lot of fun. Plenty of food to be sampled, some free, some not and I saw part of a cooking demonstration that the actor Larry Thomas gave (better known as the Soup Nazi from an episode of Seinfeld). Unfortunately my pics of him didn’t come out very well but I did get a nice picture of the earth sculpture that hangs in the entrance way of the convention centre, as below:

Other than that I’ve been attempting to avoid the constant rain, done a lot of work on my novel, fell behind on email again (sorry folks!), and continued job-hunting. No luck on that front yet but I have applied to some interesting jobs that I’m hopeful about. Till next week!
