Throwback Thursday: Lambeth Palace, London

Lambeth Palace on the south bank of the River Thames is the official London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The gatehouse of the palace, below, was completed by the early 16th century, with other parts of the palace dating back to around 1200.
